Obstetric and Gynecologic Emergency Services

It is quite important to address the emergent needs of obstetric and gynecologic patients in a private atmosphere. As a hospital and department, we are currently well equipped to deal with the majority of such occurrences as in gynecologic hemorrhage, ectopic pregnancy, and acute pelvic pain as well as in emergencies during pregnancy. Our obstetricians and gynecologists are available 24 hours on-call while an emergency medicine specialist is available on-site to deal with the initial presentation. The service is linked to the hospital’s laboratory, imaging, and operating room functions to provide timely diagnosis and treatment as necessary. The department and hospital are planning a major expansion to the emergency services during the next two years.
