Clinicopathologic Correlation (CPC) is a major feature that characterizes the daily life of dermatologists, it gives them an advantage lacking in many other specialties. When we take a biopsy from your skin, mucosa, hair or nail, we examine it under the microscope, in an attempt to make an accurate diagnosis of conditions that cannot be confirmed by history and macroscopic physical examination alone.
