Job Summary:
The Quality Officer is responsible for receiving and responding to patients’ compliments and complaints regarding hospital services. He / She ensures that concerns are handled properly by using a range of complaint resolution techniques. In Addition, He / She conducts satisfaction surveys, performs data entry, analyzes results and takes proactive measures to ensure patients and visitors’ satisfaction.
In addition, he /she shall provide oversight into the occurrence variance system (OVR) and report findings. He/she should conduct risk assessments; coordinate the activities of Patient Safety & Risk Management, educate healthcare providers, communicate and implement action plans in coordination with departments and services.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing sciences, health care management, health science or relevant field.
• Masters in health care management/quality management or related field/CPHQ is a plus.
• 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledgeable in hospital quality management system and accreditation standards.
• Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal) – Arabic, English, French is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Computer and statistical skills.
