Nurses, Midwives & Labor Day at LAU: A Celebration of Heart
This year, we celebrated Nurses, Midwives, and Labor Day with a joyful twist. The Nursing Department lit up the stage with a lighthearted theatrical performance, filled with comedic sketches that brought smiles and laughter to everyone in the room. It was a touching reminder that healing isn’t only found in medicine—it’s also in moments of joy.
Following the performance, staff gathered around LAU President Dr. Chaouki T. Abdallah, who personally thanked each and every caregiver for their unwavering dedication to patient care. We also honored Mrs. Maguy Abou Fayad and Mrs. Karoun Missirian for their tireless support, and offered special thanks to Mrs. Caroline Jabbour for her inspiring leadership of the Nursing Department.
To end the celebration on a heartwarming note, our doctors surprised the team with a thoughtful gesture of gratitude—highlighting the deep unity and shared spirit that defines our healthcare family.
